President Joe Biden said he would back killing the filibuster to pass federal abortion legislation and blasted the Supreme Court's 'outrageous' repealing of Roe v. Wade during a press conference in Madrid on Thursday. The president took questions from reporters in a brief press conference running just shy of half an hour after meeting with European NATO leaders. Biden pledged to have further updates on the fight to keep abortion access for all women after meeting with US governors upon his return on Friday. He also pointed out that the Supreme Court's Friday decision to roll back federal rights to the procedure had larger implications on 'the right to privacy' as a whole. 'The first and foremost thing we should do, is make it clear how outrageous this decision was and how much it impacts - not just on a woman's right to choose, which is a critical, critical piece - but on privacy generally,' Biden said. 'And so I'm going to be talking to the governors as to what actions they think I should be taking as well.' He added that the 'most important thing' was his belief that the protections granted in Roe v. Wade should be codified into law.

Sonny Barger, the founding member of the Hells Angels motorcycling club, has died aged 83 after a battle with cancer. The California outlaw, who was involved in drugs and protection rackets, died surrounded by his wife Zorana and other loved ones. A post shared on his Facebook page after his death included a farewell message from the biker to his legions of fans after 65 years as a member of the club. The post read: 'If you are reading this message, you'll know that I'm gone. I've asked that this note be posted immediately after my passing. 'I've lived a long and good life filled with adventure. And I've had the privilege to be part of an amazing club. Although I've had a public persona for decades, I've mostly enjoyed special time with my club brothers, my family, and close friends. Please know that I passed peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. But also know that in the end, I was surrounded by what really matters: My wife, Zorana, as well as my loved ones. 'Keep your head up high, stay loyal, remain free, and always value honor.'

Matt Ford, who lives in Los Angeles, said he caught the virus after 'skin-to-skin contact' with another patient. He has spoken out to warn people the disease 'sucks' and to take it seriously.Revealing his diagnosis, Ford said he received a call from a friend about two weeks ago to say they had tested positive and he should also get checked. The actor and writer, who describes himself as a 'proud openly gay man', revealed he then noticed spots in and around his 'underwear zone' that indicated he had caught the virus. A mssive brawl erupted early Tuesday on the Carnival Magic off New York as it was wrapping up its eight-day Caribbean cruise when the fight broke out in the ship's nightclub. It has emerged the fight was triggered after some passengers engaged in a threesome which then enraged their significant others leading to around 40 to 60 people getting involved in the punch-up. Two people began scuffling on nightclub dance floor and the altercation rapidly got out of control. The fracas, which began on the fifth floor and lasted for an hour, ending up on the first floor of the cruise ship. Video shows security guards clearly outnumbered completely powerless to stop the large brawl. After the fight, the Coast Guard escorted the ship to dock in Manhattan - no injuries were reported.

The Queen looked ecstatic in an elegant blue ensemble as she appeared alongside the Prince of Wales for a military parade at the Palace of Holyroodhouse today. In the gardens of the Edinburgh residence, more than 300 officers and archers from the Queen's Body Guard for Scotland took part in the Reddendo parade, watched by Her Majesty, 96, who carried her now customary walking stick, and Prince Charles. The Royal Company of Archers acts as the Sovereign's ceremonial Body Guard for Scotland - a role first created in 1822 during a visit to Scotland by King George IV. During the ceremony, the Queen and Charles, who is also known by his title Duke of Rothesay when in Scotland, arrived by the Equerry's Door and were met in the garden by the Captain General of the Royal Company of Archers, the Duke of Buccleuch, before receiving a royal salute. The event is the largest gathering of the Sovereign's Body Guard in history with 25 officers and 298 Archers on parade.

The newly released footage was captured by CCTV cameras in and around the Amstor mall in Kremenchuk, central Ukraine, which was struck by a Russian missile on Monday. Two cameras inside the same shop captured the moment the missile struck, sending goods flying off the shelves and the shopkeeper running for cover. Two more cameras on the exterior of the complex showed debris landing on the ground outside the mall. Another exterior camera showed smoke rising from the building as it was hit, and two passers-by narrowly avoiding flying debris. Another exterior camera looking out over a parking bay captured the missile as it flew into the building causing a huge blast. The new footage debunks the claim from Igor Konashenkov, a spokesperson for Russia's defence ministry, who said the mall was 'non-functioning. At least 18 people were killed in the strike with another 21 still missing as-of Wednesday, with rescuers warning they are unlikely to have survived an inferno which gutted the mall and caused the roof to collapse. Identifying victims is proving difficult, with some bodies burned beyond recognition.

The National Aviary in Pittsburgh announced the birth of a female Andean condor. These birds can have a wingspan of up to 30ft. However, they critically endangered - there only about 7,000 adults left in the world. The chick hatched at the bird sanctuary on June 7, news of the birth was announced Thursday, to Lianni and Lurch, which also live at the aviary.

A NASA satellite captured stunning images of a partial solar eclipse from its unique vantage point in space - the only place where it was visible. The Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) photographed the moon passing in front of the sun yesterday from about 5:20 am BST (1:20 am ET). The transit lasted for about 35 minutes and at its peak, the moon covered 67 percent the fiery surface. The spacecraft then returned a series of images of the event that showed 'lunar mountains backlit by solar fire', according to experts at SpaceWeather.com. Bumps and irregularities can be seen on the moon's surface it passed by that have been identified as part of the Leibnitz and Doerfel mountain ranges.

Forney Independent School District, home to 14,000 students, will from August ban t-shirts, dresses, skirts, hoodies, denim jackets, and shorts more than three inches above the knee. The school district said the dress code was designed 'to improve student self-esteem, bridge socio-economic differences among students, and promote positive behavior, thereby enhancing school safety and improving the learning environment'. Parents say it is repressive and ridiculous, and stems creativity. They also argue that it will cost families more, as they need to buy clothes that fit the strict guidelines.

Thomas Pinder, 34, from Skipton, North Yorkshire spotted the F15 Eagle fighter jet while visiting Mach Loop in Wales, where he regularly goes to witness the amazing aerial displays. Mr Pinder spotted the F15 Eagle on a training exercise. The plane appeared to be struggling to exit a fluffy cloud, but this is actually a unique effect created by the jet. The unusual image is caused by warm air entering a low-pressure area, as the jet zooms through the sky, this produces condensation which kicks up the cloud-ball effect.

Kevin Spacey has been pictured for the first time since he appeared in court in London accused of historically sexually assaulting three men. The disgraced actor, 62, was seen arriving in Croatia on Wednesday, ahead of filming a docu-drama as he continues to work amid his ongoing legal battles. Spacey, who has 'strenuously denied' the allegations against him, has claimed he will 'establish his innocence' over claims he sexually assaulted three men over an eight-year period during visits to Britain.
